Rockhouse is a boutique hotel stretching across the cliffs of Pristine Cove in Negril. The resort, nestled amongst eight acres of tropical lush gardens, boasts a 60-foot cliff-top horizon pool and an award winning restaurant set on a balcony suspended directly over the water. Thatched roofed villas with private sun-bathing decks perch on the cliff's edge, and throughout the property, ladders and stairs carved into the rock lead down to easy water access for swimming and snorkeling on the reef.
Rockhouse has a newly constructed Spa, where the philosophy is a simple, holistic approach to well-being, health and happiness with Jamaican style. Spa treatments are undertaken "on-the-rocks" in the cliff-edge Massage Cabana, at the Caribbean Drench hut, inside the eight room garden spa, or can be arranged in the privacy of your guest room. Yoga classes are offered daily in the recently built yoga room.
The Rockhouse vibe is laid back; you'll find that bare feet are more common than dress shoes at the restaurant. As the restaurant's menu cover most appropriately warns – "Visiting Rockhouse for lunch can lead to staying for the sunset, ordering a cocktail, booking for dinner, checking in for a week, and coming back every year for the rest of your life ... Don't say we didn't warn you!"
Rockhouse is consistently ranked one of the top resorts in the Caribbean. In 2007 Rockhouse is nominated for four World Travel Awards including best Boutique Hotel in the Caribbean for the 3rd consecutive year.

Dining and Restaurant
Jamaican cuisine is a complex mix of all the cultures that have come to her shores. The native Arawak Amerindians, the Chinese, the Spanish, the English and the Indians all brought their own culinary staples and cooking techniques when they settled on the island. Even the Rastafarians, upholding the ideals of vegetarianism, have placed new emphasis on natural foods. Drawing from these diverse roots, the Rockhouse Restaurant creates "new Jamaican cuisine", a lighter, modern interpretation of classic Jamaican cooking designed to enhance your island experience, yet remain accessible to those not familiar with Caribbean food.
The Rockhouse Restaurant and Bar is also designed to live in harmony with the natural environment. The thatched-roof, airy bar tiers down to an outdoor balcony suspended directly over Pristine Cove where the service is attentive and respectful. With reggae playing in the background while the ocean laps against the rocks below, it's an unpretentious, relaxed environment sure to lull you into a tropical mood.

Rockhouse has thirty-four air-conditioned rooms providing all the comforts of a boutique hotel in a natural Jamaican environment. Eight Premium Villas, twelve Villas, five Studios and nine Standard rooms are built from timber, stone and thatch and designed to exist in harmony with the jungle-like garden and volcanic rock of the Hotel’s eight acres. All rooms have a private balcony or terrace with lounging furniture.
Room furniture includes a four post queen size bed with mosquito netting, bed side tables, desk/dresser with stool, and a two-seated table with chairs for in-room dining. This is a new furniture line specifically designed for Rockhouse and built from dressed and polished local timbers. Amenities include a room safe, a fully stocked mini bar, telephones with overseas direct dialling, luggage rack, overhead or oscillating stand fan. The pressurized water system with master tank storage, and power provision from the back-up generators ensure continuous services. Environmentally conscious, solar hot water is heated through out the property, with local hot water tank backup for those very rare cloudy days, or unusually high consumption.
Villas
All the Villas are individual, cliff-top, thatched-roof cottages situated directly over the water. They feature spacious, wrap around, private terraces and sliding glass doors providing sublime vistas of Pristine Cove. All have queen-size beds; four of the villas feature loft beds. The loft Villas, in addition to the queen bed downstairs, have a double bed and a twin bed upstairs and can accommodate up to four people. Each of the Villas has CD players and private, enclosed, outdoor showers open to the skies.
Premium Villas
The Premium Villas are newly constructed, and oversized with westward, sunset-facing views from their cliff edge.
Studios
The Studios are more traditional hotel rooms, and are grouped together, each having its own balcony with water views. The Studios also have private, enclosed, outdoor showers. All Studio rooms are double rooms with queen-size beds and accommodate two people.
Standard Rooms
The Standard rooms are similar to the studio rooms but their balconies feature garden views. They are also grouped together in a traditional hotel block, and are double rooms with queen-size beds. They can be set up to accommodate three or four people by adding a twin or bunk bed.

How to get to the hotel? |
|
The hotel is located on the cliffs, two and a half miles west of Negril town on Negril's West End Road. The hotel is sited on the western most point of Jamaica – the best spot for sunsets. The closest major international airport is Montego Bay, just over an hour away.

Cancellation Policy
.If cancellation is received 15 days or more prior to arrival, then 20% of the full amount will be lost.
.If cancellation is received 14 days of arrival, then 2 nights penalty will be charged.
.No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
