Upon arrival at Franklyn D. Resort and Spa, you are greeted by your family's own Vacation Nanny - it's an indulgence you won't find anywhere else in Jamaica or in the Caribbean. Her job is to pamper your children while you relax on the beach or take advantage of all our adult activities like scuba diving. And when you want to spend time as a family, she will care for your suite - making it clean and tidy - and will stock your refrigerator. Unlike other resorts, this nanny is exclusively yours as part of your all-inclusive package - our staff-guest ratio is 1:1. And by the end of your holidays, you'll be pleasantly surprised to discover that your Vacation Nanny feels like part of your family.

Activities
At Franklyn D Resort and Spa, we bend over backwards to ensure that each member of your family has a carefree and memorable experience. In addition to the numerous sports and activities available to adults, other programs are carefully designed to include activities that infants, toddlers, young children and teens love. And don't forget -- your Vacation Nanny is always there to accompany your children as they make their way through all the programs, activities and games we have in store for them.
Activities For Kids
Your kids will love splashing and playing in the pools and the ocean or swooshing down the waterslides. But there are also dozens of other activities available that range from arts & crafts to sports. Franklyn D Resort is the best place for them!
SWIMMING-The main pool features a roped-off shallow end for toddlers and small children as well as a separate "slide" pool that's a big hit with our youngest guests. Vacation nannies will keep a close watch on your little ones so you can also relax while the kids safely have fun in one of the pools or at our kid-friendly beach.
BIG BLUE- One of the biggest hits with kids is our 100-foot water slide, affectionately known as "Big Blue". For children who can swim, zooming down the twists and turns of the slide and making a big splash in Big Blue's own pool is a rush they'll want over and over.
SPORTS- When they've tired of swimming, splashing and sliding, a variety of activities awaits them. They can enjoy soccer or snorkeling lessons, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaks, tennis, basketball, or bicycle rides.
YELLOW BIRD KIDS' CLUB- This is the hub of activity for children of different ages. Our popular kiddie's centre is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
Our children's program is as varied and enjoyable as the junior guests themselves. Kids have their own playground, arts and crafts center and paddling pool, along with activities like shell hunts on the beach and tie-dye classes. While having fun, children will learn about life on a Caribbean coral reef, enter a talent contest, participate in swimming lessons, make a tie-dye outfit and learn about Jamaica. You may choose to have an afternoon cocktail, meet new friends and mingle at the bar and lounge, or enjoy dinner on the boardwalk as the sun sets. Nightly live entertainment is offered, backed by the Franklyn D Resort and Spa band. Showtime is 9 pm.
And please -- let us pamper you! You can enjoy a relaxing yet invigorating massage, manicure, pedicure or hair-braiding on a pay-as-you-go basis at BodyWorks, the resort's own spa. Our dedicated and talented spa staff will help make your holidays soothing and refreshing. Or, you can relax in our 10-seater Jacuzzi with sundeck -- it's right on the ocean and is for adults only. You also can take a leisurely stroll down the mile-long white sand beach adjacent to the resort.
We also offer several shopping opportunities at the resort. You can browse for souvenirs, clothing, Jamaican coffee and liquor at The Gift Shop. You may also enjoy shopping in our duty-free shop, where you'll find elegant jewelry and superior cigars. The Jamaican Arts & Crafts Shop boasts locally handcrafted pieces of art, which are fitting souvenirs or gifts.
Check the Tour Desk for a schedule of shopping trips to Ocho Rios, an excursion that is part of your all-inclusive package. Or, consider optional excursions to exciting places such as the world-famous Dunn's River Falls or Cranbrook Flower Forest. Various other optional tours are available to unique and thrilling attractions like Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios, where you have the opportunity for an up-close encounter with dolphins in their natural habitat. Other great expeditions to the Blue Mountains in the east or to Negril in the west can also be arranged.
Sports
When you are not relaxing on the beach or swimming in our pool, you can take advantage of an array of land and water sports. Both adults and children have fun learning many of our sports like windsurfing snorkeling, sailing, kayaking and tennis.
Among our most popular activities is Scuba Diving at our coral reefs. If you're already an experienced or certified Scuba diver, Franklyn D Resort and Spa has all the gear you need. If not, you have the opportunity to become certified by trained, qualified instructors. Included in the vacation package for certified divers is one daily dive, weather permitting. You'll get the chance for an up-close view at some of the Caribbean's most colorful and exotic fish, along with native plant species that populate the quiet depths of our sea.
We also offer snorkeling at the coral reefs, along with snorkeling lessons and trips out on our own glass-bottom boat. Other water sports include kayaking, sailing and windsurfing.
Our gym is fully-equipped so you have the chance to stay in shape. Use of machines and weights, and aerobic and aquacize classes are all part of the package.
The games room is equipped with pool tables and table tennis. We also offer day and night tennis on our lit court. Then there is beach/pool volleyball, basketball, soccer, foosball and cycling. We have just about any sport to suit every member of the family.

There are 76 deluxe one, two and three bedroom suites with separate living and dining areas, kitchens, cable TV and LAN Access. All suites are air-conditioned and feature either a large balcony or a garden terrace. Our newest addition is a 1400 square foot Honeymoon Suite, complete with a luxurious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and 800 square foot deck on the beach.

All Inclusive rates are in USDollars and include taxes and service charge as well a Vacation Nanny !
Rates, taxes, service charges and info posted are subject to change without notice.
Minimum Stay Requirement: 3 nights stay.
Minimum occupancy in a 2-bedroom Suite is 3 adults.
Children under 6 stay, play and eat Free
Children age 6 - 15 years, pay US$ 30 per child per night from now to December 21st, 2006 and April 13th to December 20th, 2007.
For the period December 22nd 2006 to April 12th, 2007 the price per child per night is US$ 50.
Special Teen's Rate: Teens, 16, 17 & 18 US$ 60 per Teen per night, year round.
Cancellation Penalty: One night cancellation charge if cancelled within 7 days of arrival. Three night's rate if cancelled 14 days prior to arrival for Christmas, New Years, February 16 to March 1, 2007 and March 30 to April 12, 2007.
Each cancellation of a confirmed reservation is subject to a cancellation fee / charge of US$ 50.00 and applied.
"No shows" results in forfeiting the full payment.
Travel insurance is always recommended.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.

No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
