Built at the end of the 19th century, the Hotel Miramare Continental Palace is a grand whitewashed building, set in mature gardens in the Gulf of San Remo, 25 metres from the beach and one kilometre from the Old City. Nice International Airport is 55 kilometres distant (34 miles), a 60-minute drive.
