Great Houses were the grand homes of the sugarcane plantation owners in Historic Montego Bay. Beautiful architecture, antique furniture and art, the aesthetics of these establishments are magnificent and captured in time.

Greenwood Great House

A fine example of late eighteenth century Great House construction in Jamaica. With a guided tour of the grounds, you will learn about The Barrett's of Wimpole Street fame who came to Jamaica in the 1660s and amassed great wealth from their sugar plantations.

The famous Rose Hall Great House. Another guided tour here takes you through the grounds, rooms and dungeon of Jamaica's greatest of Great Houses. Immerse yourself in the tales and folklore of the "White Witch of Rose Hall" and her three unfortunate husbands.
